3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for necessary website functions and, with your consent, for analytics, marketing and certain functional services. Optional technologies are activated only after the relevant consent has been provided.

The services used on the website may include Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google reCAPTCHA and Calendly. Their use depends on the relevant page, feature and your cookie preferences.

Personal data is disclosed only where necessary to service providers that support our website, hosting, email, form handling, scheduling, analytics, marketing or security functions, and to authorities where legally required. Where a provider acts as our processor, we use data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR where required. Within scinteco, access is limited to persons who need the data for the relevant purpose.

6. International transfers

scinteco gmbh is based in Austria and processes data primarily in the European Economic Area. Some service providers may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers are based on an adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request further information about the safeguards used by contacting office@scinteco.com.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Where statutory retention periods apply, relevant business correspondence and contract-related documents may be retained for the legally required period. Data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, where applicable, you have the right to access your personal data, request rectification or erasure, restrict processing, receive data in a portable format and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, contact office@scinteco.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for scinteco gmbh is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, www.dsb.gv.at.
