Deployment options

The improve platform is deployed in your organisation’s AWS account, meeting your infrastructure, security requirements, and data governance policies. Your improve installation is dedicated entirely to your organisation. The improve platform runs on your own cloud account, provisioned and managed by your IT team. scinteco provides the deployment package and guides the provisioning process through all stages - from development to production. Your data never leaves your own cloud account.

Infrastructure integration

The improve platform integrates with the HPC and enterprise systems your organisation already manages. Supported HPC schedulers are SLURM and LSF. AWS Batch support is accessible via AWS ParallelCluster. CPU allocation, memory limits, and queue selection are specified per run, giving IT visibility and control over compute consumption.

The improve platform connects to other clinical systems via the REST API. Integrations for authentication systems, clinical trial management and laboratory information systems, security tooling, and HPC schedulers are supported. Full details are in the integrations section.

Data residency and control

Data, scientific artifacts, metadata, and audit trail records reside entirely within your own infrastructure. scinteco has no access to customer data in production environments.

Data residency requirements, backup and recovery procedures, and RTO/RPO targets are agreed on during deployment planning and configured to match your organisation’s resiliency classification and regulatory obligations.

scinteco works in cooperation with your IT and quality management teams through every stage: architecture review, configuration, integration with enterprise systems, validation support, and go-live. A dedicated deployment support engagement is included with every new installation.
